3. By Rail
There is no direct train from Bangkok to Krabi. Visitors may take a train from Bangkok Railway Station called the Hualamphong Railway Station to Suratthani, Trang or Thung Song, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and then ride a bus or a taxi to Krabi. 4. By Car
1. From Bangkok � 946 km route � drive down Highway 4. via Phetchaburi � prachuab Khiri Khan � Chumphon - Ranong Phangnga to Krabi.
2. From Bangkok - 814 km route � take Kighway 4 till reach Chumphon. Then take the diversion to Highway 41. Proceed till you reach Amphoe Wiang Sa and then change over to Highway 4035 to Amphoe Ao Luk. Here you turn towards Highway 4 and proceed to Krabi.
3. From Phuket � 3 hr drive along Highway 402 then HW 4. this is a total distance of 185 km. There are regular buses leaving Phuket for Krabi every hour starting from 7.00 am daily. There are A/C and Non - A/c buses available.
